I have done few test shots on the 70mm f/2.8 wide open on my Sony NEX-5N. This lens is sharper than both the 18mm and 24mm. But I do see some very weird vignette on one side of the picture when oriented in portrait shooting but it only shows up vignette in very bright sunlight shooting when shutter needs to go to 1/4000 sec in ISO 100. All are shot wide open as I don't yet have any mechanics to stop down.
#1 Off focus shot
to see light ringed bokeh
#2 24 Hour Fitness at night
#3 Hiking Trail -- less vignette in landscape
#4 Portrait with vignette on right side -- some
light adjustment already in PP
Vignette happens in high shutter in 1/3200 sec
#5 Low Shutter shots
#6 Another Vignette Shot -- no PP
Vignette happens in high shutter in 1/3200 sec
