I did the shooting on not-so-nice noon setting when the bunnies preferred to hide in the shadows. But I did get more keeper shots with the 30A
Notes & Impressions:
- The mono-pod does help in the shooting as I find myself with stability that I don't have before
- I don't feel as strained on my hands in the shooting with 30A
- Mono-pod is more portable and I find it easier to use over tripod especially in terms of framing the shot.
- While the Manfrotto 3229 works well for me, I would have liked to upgrade the mono-pod with better build material and shorter length when collapsed

I'm glad you K-x is back
Also glad to see your K-x back in action. I think that might actually be a Manfrotto 3229.
I have a compact 484rc2 ball head on my monopod...I suspect the head you have is better-suited, but I already owned the ball head.
@Jarda, thank you for your visit. My K-x was back in good shape, fixed really good by CRIS after 5 1/2 weeks. But I have sold it over the weekend. My K-x white was on its way to Oregon to another user. I will miss my stylish traveling cam. very much.
@5ththStIncident, thanks for the correction. Those K-x shots was done a while ago. CRIS fixed it good and I have managed to sell it already. I have a bigger plan coming up. It is not a Pentax but likely a Nikon D7000.
