Product shot with Sony E 16mm f/2.8

I have been very happy with the prime that Sigma has offered for the Sony E mount. While it is not pancake small, I find it very sharp and surprisingly low cost of ownership. There may be a gripe or two especially in the slower AF but overall this is a lens to get if you want to have a faster prime to compliment with the kit zoom. I now frequently go out with the Sigma 30mm f/2.8 and the Sony E 16mm f/2.8. And I recently add the wide angle adapter and the Sony E 50mm f/1.8. So I will have my choices of prime only or a single prime to go with the kit zoom. Life is sweet especially I find a good prime that is affordable and with AF. The manual focusing with this prime is not as bad as some discussion that I have seen. I find it quite reasonable for manual focusing and I am yet to try a 46mm to 49mm step up ring and use my Cosina matched macro adapter.

Hi Hin!
I got the 19mm/30mm sigmas last month when they were on sale. Great deal, these have become my favorite NEX lenses. I actually prefer their focusing action to the 24mm zeiss which i used for a couple months.
@Andrew, thank you in dropping by. Had I waited a month or two, I would have gotten your same 2-sigma-lens package. Right now, I am settled with just the Sigma 30mm and I am hoping that the Sony E 20mm f/2.8 turns out to a great lens for a potential lens purchase. I love the Sigma 30mm f/2.8 and I use it quite often.
